Water Saving Home Car Wash
Instead of washing the car with the hose, buckets, or car wash and wasting so much water; fill 1/4 of a bucket with water, use a micro fibre cloth, wring out so its nearly dry. Start on the roof and work your way down. When the cloth dries out too much, dip it into the bucket and wring out well so it's nearly dry.

Inexpensive Wedding Tips
My fiance and I are planning to get hitched at the end of next year and I was wondering if I could get some pointers on how to keep our wedding as cheap as possible, seeing as at this time, both my fiance and I are very strapped for cash, as we are both jobless. We are hoping to keep the wedding to $2,000-3,000, including wedding, reception, photography, honeymoon, etc. you know, the whole kit and caboodle. Thanks so much for your help.

Substitute Chinese 5 Spice For Pumpkin Pie Spice
Last night, I found myself making a pumpkin pie and realized I was out of cinnamon AND nutmeg and had no premixed pumkin pie spice. Not wanting to run to the store, I rummaged through my spice cabinet in search of alternatives. Chinese 5 spice blend is: Star Anise, Fennel, Cinnamon, Cloves and Pepper. It gave an interesting different flavor to the pie.

Craft: Beaded Bracelets
I absolutely LOVE making beaded bracelets. I bead in a quiet and peaceful place where I get plenty of inspiration. All the bracelets I made in the photo were done deep in the forest on our 20 acres of solitude in the Sierra foothills. First I pick a color theme and then let my imagination go a little crazy. Your bracelet can be as simple as one or two choices of beads on an elastic strand, or more complicated if you are making your bracelet as a gift for someone special. Let your imagination go to work and peace will surely follow.

Saving The Bagged Salad
Prewashed salad fixings are great, except they go bad so quickly due to excess moisture in the bag. To extend your salad greens' life, open the bag once you get home, place a paper towel inside and then close with a bag clip. The paper towel absorbs the extra moisture. This gives salad about an extra week.

Static Electricity Remedy
I got so tired of getting zapped with static electricity every time I touch a light switch. Ouch! So I cut some dryer sheets in quarters and tucked a piece under a corner of each of the light switch covers (they could also be thumb tacked or taped there). Now, I take an extra second to squeeze and rub the sheet between my fingers before hitting the switch.
